T-Ball

What a game by the combined Grade 3&4 gold teeball team on Tuesday. They came up against a full Collegiate team. Due to illness only four out of our eight regular players were there. They took this challenge in their stride with the help of Monty from SMC grade 2! The boys stepped up, fielded beautifully and although there was only enough players for each base they work hard and impressed as a team on the field. Numerous home runs were scored and the sportsmanship and encouragement towards each other was just incredible.

Player of the match was Hunter. Will, Henry and Marley all received player encouragement awards. What an amazing bunch of boys.

SVC Sailing

The sailing season is in full flight and once again SVC has a team battling it out in the inter school Teams Racing. In last week's action, the team comprising of both Senior and Junior school boys, used a few tricks out of the book to dominate their Round 3 heats. In all three races they took the wins, a gallant effort for the young team. Hopefully they can pull a few more rabbits out of the hat in the coming weeks as they match up against a couple of long standing stalwarts of the arena in Collegiate and Friends.
