Gadomski Cup, Athletics, Canoe Polo and Soccer Grand Final

Alex Gadmoski Fellowship Cup

Back to Back Alex Gadomski Cup victories for SVC defeating Hutchins by 6 goals in a keenly contested game -.9.6.60 to 3.6.24.

Congratulations to both teams and the Spirit in which the match was played. Great to see so many family and friends, staff, and past and present students supporting such a heart felt and wonderful cause.

State SATIS Athletics Carnival last Saturday was cancelled just after 2.30pm due to wet weather. Unfortunately no age group pennants or overall shields were awarded. SVC were comfortably leading in most divisions when the event was rightfully called off.

Team SVC was doing extremely well in very difficult and testing conditions. Lots of PB's, outstanding performances and true SVC Spirit on display.

Grade 10 Soccer Grand Final

What a great match for the Grade 10 SSATIS Soccer Grand Final between SVC and Sacred Heart at Austins Ferry. The opposition came out firing in the first half to be up 4 - 0 at half time. After some inspirational words by Mr Lapolla at the break, SVC fought hard in the second half but just couldn't take advantage of their time in possession, eventually going down in a honourable loss, 2-4. Congratulations to Sacred Heart who were too good on the day. A great season boys and a big thank you to Mr Lapolla and Ms Van for their expert coaching and mentoring.

Canoe Polo

Congratulations to Team SVC on winning their Grand Final last night in Canoe Polo at the Clarence Aquatic Centre.

Team SVC 6 vs Collegiate/Paddle Power 2.

The boys skills and game play significantly improved throughout the season and they represented the College with pride and fantastic SVC spirit.

Well done boys and a big thanks to Mr Harder and Mr Terhell.
