Grade 10 Final Week and Head Start Programme
Our Grade 10s have enjoyed a really successful transition period culminating with the Leavers' Dinner on Tuesday night. It must be said the year group approached the exam period with maturity and thoroughness. Many of the boys performed well and should be proud of their efforts.
Thursday night will see the College gather to celebrate the year of work at the annual Thanksgiving at The Derwent Entertainment Centre. This is a great chance to farewell the Class of 2019 and celebrate the academic successes of many other boys.
Next week we welcome the young men who will make up the Grade 7 group of 2020 at the Orientation evening. This is an informal meeting designed for the boys and parents to meet with the staff who will guide them next year including their House Head and Pastoral Care teacher.
On Thursday we will also host Grade 6 students from the Junior School for an Orientation Day. We have held similar days for many of our Catholic feeder schools during term 3.
Boys will be given their new timetables soon, as we move towards the Head Start programme in the last week of term. It provides a great opportunity for boys to test their new option subjects for the week, as any requests for changes will only be available at the beginning of next year.
