The Harvest is rich but the labourers are few, so, ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to His harvest”

Matthew 9: 35-38

As part of our commitment to the support of Catholic education in Tasmania, this week sees the annual celebration where students from all colleges around the state gather and attend the Mass with His Grace, Archbishop Julian Porteous. A number of our students from both sites attended this Mass and St Virgil’s also provided all of the music and choir for the event.

Our Junior students will be participating in the Archie’s Arch which is a play on the Archibald prize art award in the coming months. Our boys will complete an interpretive piece of art based on The Harvest theme above. I am sure some wonderfully creative pieces will be created.
