Guilford Young College is Tasmania’s only Catholic co-educational Senior Secondary College. We operate on two unique campuses:
Glenorchy Campus is located in a secluded and beautiful environment with Mount Wellington as a backdrop.
Hobart Campus is situated in central Hobart with magnificent views overlooking the St Virgil’s Junior School, the city and out to the Derwent River.
Most students who finish at St Virgil's after Year 10 move onto to Guilford Young to complete their secondary education.
St Mary’s is a Catholic College located in Hobart, right next door to St Virgil’s Junior School. They welcome girls from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and boys from Kindergarten to Grade 2. Many of the boys who start at St Virgil’s in Grade 3 begin their education at St Marys.
Mount Carmel College was established by the Sisters of Charity in 1942.
With stunning views of the Derwent River, Mount Carmel College is located on picturesque grounds in the suburb of Sandy Bay, just 10 minutes from the centre of Tasmania’s capital city, Hobart an offers an education for girls from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and boys from Kindergarten to Grade 2.
