Vol. 7, Ed.22 8th July 2020

From the Acting Principal

I am often struck by the number of activities and events going on in our community each day, week, month or term! It speaks volumes about the passion, skills and determination of members of our community and their shared commitment to make St Virgil's College a great, and authentic Catholic boys' school in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice.

In the coming weeks we have a number of events that will provide our community with opportunities to come together and celebrate our identity whilst also reinforcing friendships and raising funds to provide additional opportunities and experiences for all students. These events include:

• Thursday August 16 - 2019 Grade 9&10 Subject Selection Evening.

• Thursday August 16 to Saturday August 18 - SMC/SVC Joint Production of Beauty and the Beast.

• Saturday September 1 - Gala Dinner Auction, 6.30pm at the New Town Bay Rowing Centre

• Sunday September 9 - Junior School Fair, 11.30am to 2pm.

• Thursday September 13 to Saturday September 15 - 'Unearthed' Grade 3-10 Student Art Exhibition, Waterfront Pavilion, Mawson Place.

Details of all events are on the College website and/or detailed on the College's Facebook pages.

Please read on and find out about about some of the other amazing events within our community...
