From the Acting Principal

Welcome back to Term 3!

I hope the holidays were well used by the boys to rest and relax, and maybe even find time to help out around the home! The reports you would have received offer an opportunity to have a conversation with your son about what went well, what didn’t go so well and what can be done to develop further. Learning is a sequential (and lifelong) process, with the skills and knowledge acquired in the past acting as a foundation for future learning. With this in mind it is sometimes worthwhile asking the boys what they think they can do to further improve and grow.

The immersion was  conducted by Edmund Rice Beyond Borders. With eight other participants I took part in the two week immersion programme, led by Australians and facilitated by local Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders members in Kenya. As participants we had the opportunity to be immersed in the work of the Catholic Church ..... please read on!

In the spirit of Blessed Edmund,

Terry Blizzard
Acting Principal
